"Just
returned from a fantastic east coast tour in The Baron. He came fully loaded
with everything we needed. The pick-up process and demonstration was relaxed
and informative and for most part we paid attention ( too excited about the
prospect of spending some quality time with The Baron)
Our
first destination was Fylingthorpe just outside Robin Hoods Bay. Middle Wood
Farm site. Three days in a wonderful campsite with a path down to the beach and
the pub. The perfect spot to see the area and Whitby's 2014 Fish N Chip shop of
the year. It wasn't the Magpie. The facilities and co-workers on site are
fantastic. The jazzy waistcoat wearing milk/egg delivery man is a real
character. Top tip for Vodaphone users, you can get a signal just outside the
reception door.
Making
friends in the Baron is so easy everyone wants to meet a T2 camper and
sometimes the driver too. Mainly to confirm we are treating the V UU with the
respect it deserves.
The
toaster! Took a while to work out what it was and how it worked. We should
have paid attention during the demonstration. Intrigued? My lips are sealed
what goes on during a camping trip stays on the trip.
Next
stop the Northumbrian Coast. Wow, The Baron ate up the miles and the journey
seems so much quicker when other V UU drivers wave and passers by smile. We set
up camp in a beautiful site in Dunstan Hill. Short walk to a castle in one
direction and a short walk to a real ale pub just off the beech in the other.
Perfect, The Baron acquired a few more admirers no change there then.
Next
stop Sea Houses the site in Beadnell is fantastic just a short hop across the
dunes and you are on the beach, great facilities and friendly co-workers. Easy
walk into Sea Houses and Beadnell
On
the trip home The Baron behaved as he had all week, gathering admiring glances
and friendly waves, eating up the miles.
The
Baron was spotless when we met him and it only seemed fair to hand him back in
the same condition. Normally I hate cleaning up, ask my partner. I actually
enjoyed taking care of The Baron.
Overall
a fantastic trip, wonderful peeps at JollyCampers and best of all we got to
meet The Baron.
